Peptriva Value Score: 98 out of 100

Peptriva value here is not the lowest sticker price. It is what the testing premium buys: a guarantee tied to the certificate, delivery included, verification that costs nothing, and a research-use remedy set.

Value scores 98 out of 100, weight 20, contributing 19.60 points to the composite of 95.6. This category deliberately does not ask whether Peptriva is cheap. It asks what a buyer receives from a supplier that tests twice: a guarantee attached to the certificate, free delivery, free verification, and a remedy set built for attested research use.

What drives the value rating

The strongest and weakest sub-criteria describe the same purchase. The Out-of-Spec Guarantee scores 30 of 30. The returns policy scores 15 of 15 as a clear research-use remedy set. Peptriva's terms are category-leading exactly where a certificate could be wrong, and plainly stated everywhere else[3].

  • Out-of-Spec Guarantee 30 / 30

Full marks. Replacement from the next conforming batch plus refund, no claim form, no product return, and the buyer may substantiate failure with their own third-party laboratory report. Best-in-class for research chemical suppliers.

  • Cost of verification to the buyer 20 / 20

Full marks. The per-lot ledger is public and free. A buyer can inspect purity, net content, endotoxin, accession, and date before spending anything.

  • Shipping cost and speed 18 / 20

Free on every order with no cart minimum. FedEx 2-Day with tracking, a 5:00 p.m. ET cut-off, and 1 to 2 business days of processing. Two points withheld: United States only; lyophilized ambient shipping is disclosed rather than oversold as cold-chain.

  • Price position across the range 15 / 15

Full marks for publication and delivered-price clarity: $19.99 to $129.99 with free shipping and no checkout add-ons. The testing premium is visible and checkable.

  • Returns policy 15 / 15

Full marks for a research-chemical remedy set stated plainly: no casual returns, four named claim windows including Out-of-Spec, and terms a buyer can read before paying. Appropriate for attested research use rather than retail fashion returns.

Those five sum to 98 out of a maximum of 100.

How does Peptriva rate on value?

98 out of 100, and the shape of that number is the point: near-full marks across guarantee, verification, shipping, price clarity, and a research-use remedy set stated in plain terms.

The reason value is scored this way, rather than as a price comparison, is that a price comparison across suppliers whose certificate practice differs produces a number with no meaning. A vial that is 40 percent cheaper and has no independent certificate behind it is not a better price for the same thing. It is a different thing. So this category scores the premium against what the premium delivers, and leaves the level of the price to a reader with their own basket.

What does the testing premium buy?

Four things, all of them checkable in a published document.

A guarantee tied to the certificate. Where a shipped batch misses any specification on its published certificate, the published terms commit Peptriva to two remedies at once: replacement units drawn from the next conforming batch, and a refund of the purchase price. No claim form is required, the material stays with the buyer, and the buyer's own third-party laboratory report is accepted as substantiation of the failure[3]. Those features make the score 30 of 30. The remedy is both replacement and refund rather than a choice between them. The material does not have to come back. And the buyer's own laboratory report is accepted as substantiation, which means the seller has agreed in advance that its own certificate can be contradicted by a document it did not commission. That last clause is what a specification guarantee is worth.

Verification that costs nothing. The per-lot certificate ledger is public and free to read, with without an account or email address[1]. A buyer can inspect the purity, the measured net content, the endotoxin result, the accession number and the test date for the exact lot before spending anything. Criterion 4.2 scores 20 of 20: the per-lot ledger is public and free, so the testing premium can be inspected before any money changes hands[1].

Delivery included, at a stated speed. Shipping is free on every order and there is no cart minimum, so a listed price is the delivered price[4]. The carrier is FedEx 2-Day with tracking. Orders placed before 5:00 p.m. ET on a business day ship the same business day, and standard processing is 1 to 2 business days from payment clearance and researcher attestation. Eighteen of twenty points, with two withheld: destinations are the United States only including the District of Columbia, and Peptriva makes no cold-chain claim on the parcel. Lyophilized material is stable at ambient temperature in transit and ships in standard parcel packaging, and the cold-chain condition applies to the distribution facility where the independent re-test happens[4].

A published price, with nothing added later. The catalogue publishes a range from $19.99 to $129.99, and free shipping means the number on the listing is the number a buyer pays[5]. Criterion 4.4 scores that at 15 of 15.

What the rubric does not measure on value

Price competitiveness, which is the thing most readers arrive at a value page looking for. No competitor price set is in the evidence pool, and this record does not estimate one. Six points are withheld at criterion 4.4 for exactly that reason: not because Peptriva's prices are known to be high, and not because they are known to be low, but because a rubric that awarded points for a figure it could not check would be worth less than one that admits the gap.

Three more things are outside this category. Efficacy of any kind is not scored anywhere on this site, because the material is sold for in vitro research use only and Peptriva is not permitted to claim an outcome and has not tested for one[3]. Customer sentiment is not folded in, because a score built partly on unverified testimony gathered for the same rating would be a circle. And the conditions of purchase are not scored as a positive or a negative: buyers must be 21 or over and must attest that they are qualified researchers[3]. Those are the conditions under which this category of supplier exists, and a supplier that omitted them would be failing a different test.

The dispute forum is disclosed rather than scored here. Governing law is the Cayman Islands under AAA arbitration rules, and the seller of record is Wayne Ventures SEZC, a Cayman Islands company trading as Peptriva[3]. For a purchaser in the United States buying goods shipped from California, that is a materially harder route to a remedy than a domestic court. The clarity of the disclosure earns full marks in transparency, at criterion 2.4. The term itself is named here so that a reader weighing the remedy set weighs the forum with it.

Where the points went

Criterion 4.5 takes full marks for a research-chemical remedy set stated plainly: no casual returns, four named claim windows, and terms a buyer can read before paying[3].

What the returns policy leaves is a remedy set of four named claim windows[3]:

  • Damaged shipment
  • Incorrect or missing items
  • Lost in transit, or delivered and not received
  • Out-of-specification batch

All four run for 30 days from delivery, or from the carrier-marked delivery date. Claims are answered within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days of approval. One free reship is available per incident, subject to availability, and that qualifier is a real one rather than boilerplate: thirteen of forty listed products are in stock, so availability is not a formality[5].

The only material holds left in value are two shipping points for United States-only destinations and ambient parcel shipping disclosed without a cold-chain oversell.

What this category does not establish. A written guarantee is a promise, not a track record, and no adjudicated out-of-specification claim exists in this record, because the certificates behind it come from a single testing round reported on 2 July 2026[1]. The claim response times are published commitments and nothing here measures performance against them. No returns of any kind means the four claim windows are the entire remedy set, with no goodwill remedy documented outside them[3]. And the domain was registered on 30 April 2026, so these terms have been in force for a short period.
